Hands Giving Hope works in the poorest parts of Puerto Penasco, Sonora.
This impoverished community is where the drug cartel has a heavy presence. As a result, many experience hunger, substandard housing, and chronic unemployment.
To combat these conditions, we work with children, feeding them and teaching them to prepare them for a better life.
We have also started building a community center to provide recreational and educational opportunities for the residence.
