The following is a report from pastor Daniel speaking from his heart his gratitude and also the continuing needs that exist in the community of Katukuri. As a deep well has been dug and the people of Katukuri will never need for water again, we continue to work to improve the lives of these very special people and to create sustainability for them.
Dear Brethren, greetings. It’s with joy that I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of Hands Giving Hope for being so steadfast and holding Turkana matters at heart. Despite challenges that rocked World economy, we are blessed to have been part of what God is doing through you. We experienced the real love from pastor Dennis and the team thereof. He touched every areas of our lives, hence make our lives horizon much brighter than we thought it would be.We are praying that this year, the Lord will provide and give you the muscle to meet the needs thereof#1 Teacher’s house;Our teacher still puts his beddings in the classroom and in food store during classes time.#2 School Fence and Demarcation;It’s needful that secure the school compound from Intruders.#3 School Uniform;Our children need to have their own identity, whereby me and the committee agreed that, it should be purple and grey.Ie grey pair of shorts for boys and purple dress with grey collar for girls.#4 Finally my children are 10 days at home due to lack of school fees. I kindly request HGH to touch my Family and make us proud too.
